Receptionist / Office Administrator , you are the first point of contact for employees, clients, and partners. This role blends hospitality, organization, and operational support to keep the office running smoothly and create a welcoming, professional environment.
District Overview Kiewit’s Bridge & Marine District headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, operates with heavy civil, marine, and industrial capabilities across North America. We are a leader in technical and traditional bridges, bridge like structures, marine structures, and dredge work. Kiewit Bridge & Marine is also the foremost constructor of floating bridges across the United States. Current projects are across the PNW and in SE regions of the USA.
Location This position is based full-time in Kiewit''s office located in Federal Way, WA.
Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations: Greet visitors, manage check‑ins, answer and route calls, and maintain a polished reception area.
Office Coordination: Oversee office supplies, equipment, meeting room schedules, and general workspace organization.
Administrative Support: Assist project teams and managers with document preparation, data entry, scheduling, and internal communications.
Vendor & Facilities Liaison: Coordinate with building management, maintenance teams, and service vendors to ensure a safe, functional office environment.
Event & Meeting Support: Prepare meeting spaces, arrange catering, support onboarding sessions, and help coordinate office events.
Mail & Logistics Management: Handle incoming/outgoing mail, courier shipments, and internal distribution.
Qualifications
Experience in administrative or front‑desk roles, ideally in construction, engineering, or professional services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presence.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and composure.
Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across departments.

Base Compensation:
$25.00 - $28.00
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
