The Unit Assistant is a multi-skilled position that combines elements from both the Licensed Nursing Assistant and the Unit Secretary. The incumbent is responsible for specific aspects of direct/indirect care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, and for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit. The incumbent may work a combination of 8- and 12‑hour shifts.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Nursing Assistant licensure from the State of Vermont.
Experience Previous health care experience preferred.
