Texas Tissue Converting
Machine Operators
Join Texas Tissue Converting as a full‑time Machine Operator in Conroe, TX. You will operate paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. The position requires working a 12‑hour shift rotation (6:00–6:30), including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain production machines on a paper converting line (rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.).
Adhere to safety policy and procedures.
Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
Load raw materials (parent reels, poly rolls, core materials) using overhead crane, pallet jack, and other equipment.
Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish and troubleshoot the assigned area of the line as needed.
Determine and report downtime, pallet counts, machine speeds, etc.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
May operate automated packaging equipment.
Qualifications
High‑school diploma or equivalent required.
3 to 5 years of machine‑operation experience required; manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with a team.
Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 lbs for 12‑hour shifts.
Excellent attendance record on a 2‑2‑3 rotational schedule.
Ability to work a rotational schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must complete background check and pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.
