Overview Remote opportunity for an experienced claims adjuster with a passion for Workers' Compensation Subrogation. Leverage your expertise to make a meaningful impact.
How You'll Make An Impact
Investigate, evaluate, dispose, and settle less complex claims with moderate supervision, including coverage, liability, damages, and proper reserves.
Hold claims reserve and settlement authority up to $5,000 liability and/or $10,000 workers compensation or greater.
Exercise proper judgment to analyze claims exposure and appropriately settle the claim.
Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process.
Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and "best practices," as well as statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
Document and communicate all claim activity timely and effectively in a manner that supports the outcome of the claim file.
Work at full case load capacity.
About You Required:
High school diploma and 3 years related WC subro claims experience. Appropriate licensing/certification in all states where claims are handled or ability to obtain licenses/certification per local requirements. Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices. Computer experience with related claims and business software.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree.
