Job Summary Are you a pet lover with a passion for customer service? If so, we’d like to hear from you! We are a leading dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility. We are passionate about providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for our furry guests. We are currently seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Associate to join our team. As the Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and furry guests. You will greet pet owners and check in pets, schedule appointments, process payments, and generally ensure that a facility is a welcoming place.
Responsibilities
Greet owners as they arrive
Check-in dogs for Daycare, Boarding, or Grooming
Collect and confirm pet and owner information
Answer phones, emails, and other communications
Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Help keep a clean and safe work environment
Assist in kennel operations when needed
Other administrative duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communication with clients and coworkers
Comfortable working with a variety of animals
Proficient in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, Windows operating system and other technology
Effective dog behavior identification and dog handling
Ability to stand and work on your feet for multiple hours
Ability to multitask, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize task importance
Experience in a similar role is a plus
