Overview

Virtual/OnDemand Tellers with Forcht Bank are responsible for handling customer service-related transactions via a two-way video conference with our customers. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. The OnDemand Teller will create sales opportunities by engaging customers in conversations and product demonstrations. Annual loan deposit referral goals are assigned. Responsibilities

Take a proactive approach to determine service needs, suggesting appropriate services to customers and generating sales leads. Assist and engage customers with financial transactions via two-way video conference, including: Cashing checks within proper authorization levels and paying out money after verifying signatures, amounts, and sufficient funds. Receiving checks and currency for deposit, verifying amounts and deposit slip accuracy. Recording transactions and issuing computer-generated receipts. Placing holds on accounts when appropriate.

Issue cash advances on credit cards for customers with proper identification. Accept loan payments. Accept customer check orders and enter orders online. Sell or refer bank services to customers and potential customers, including: DDA accounts; Savings Accounts; Certificates of Deposit; Individual Retirement Accounts; and Safe Deposit Boxes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Possess excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, banking information systems and video conferencing software (e.g., CBS, Desktop, Nautilus). Comfort with being viewed by customers through a video screen and communicating via video conferencing. Ability to provide excellent customer service while demonstrating Forcht Bank’s mission, vision, and values. Ability to promote and cross-sell bank products and meet referral goals. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers. Ability to work with a team and with members of other departments. Ability to work with little direct supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information. Ability to perform in an organized, rule-based manner and prioritize tasks. Strong listening skills with the ability to understand and respond appropriately. Knowledge of English language structure, spelling, grammar, and composition relevant to work documents. Time management and efficiency in completing assignments. Knowledge of arithmetic and its applications relevant to the position. Physical Demands and Abilities

Manual dexterity to type and use a computer; frequent use of hands and fingers. Ability to listen, understand, and communicate information effectively. Ability to arrange tasks in a specific order per rules or procedures. Ability to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds as needed. Ability to work with standard office equipment and look at a computer screen for extended periods.
