Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning product bins.
Deep cleaning of equipment and/or racking.
Sweeping, vacuuming, and floor scrubbing.
Shoveling up piles of spilled material and putting them in appropriate marked bins.
Wipe down overhead areas.
Cleaning up broken pallets and broken product bags.
Utilizing the trash and recycling compactor.
Washing down dirty areas outside.
Sanitation of office, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
Stock supplies for warehouse use.
Document daily cleaning activities.
Follow MSS (Master sanitation Schedule) and document completed tasks.
Nature and Scope Performs duties relevant to the Sanitation department and plant operations.
Dimensions Primarily taken care of on one shift; however, extra hours are put in as the need arises.
Qualifications Essential General Requirements:
Perform all assigned tasks safely and timely.
Work in confined spaces.
Understand and perform lock‑out/tag‑out.
Read and comprehend job‑related written procedures or verbal instructions.
Communicate verbally and in written form in English.
Perform basic math functions.
Learn basic mechanics.
Independent worker with self‑initiative.
Work at heights.
Work rotating shifts as needed.
Work overtime as needed.
Education and Experience:
Ability to organize, manage and direct activities of others.
Language Skills Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend instructions and documentation in English.
Mathematical Skills Excellent knowledge in using a full range of statistical and analytical tools and fundamentals.
Reasoning Ability
Excellent knowledge of sanitary design, sanitation and pest management in food processing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
Excellent understanding of food safety.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Good experience with government regulatory requirements in the processing of food.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations On‑going training to enhance performance in position as required.

Food Safety/Security Requirements All employees must be trained on and adhere to Good Manufacturing Policies; aware of work environment; prevent accidental or intentional adulteration.
Preferred Qualifications Traits such as Dedicated, Enthusiastic, and Leader are desirable.
Education and Experience Required: 1 year sanitation work. Preferred: 2 years food manufacturing facility.
