Maintenance Technician

The role is on‑site, reporting from the Ocala community office and supporting the maintenance team to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s standards. You will be an expert at troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions with a customer‑service attitude.

Responsibilities

Repairs and maintenance in HVAC (if certified), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry‑wall, exterior structure, and appliances.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems across multiple systems.

Provide a customer‑service attitude while working with residents and coworkers.

Perform work orders efficiently and with attention to detail.

Qualifications

Universal EPA certification is a plus.

At least one year of experience as a maintenance technician preferred.

Strong work ethic and an eager‑to‑learn attitude.

Experience with apartment housing strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, and HVAC.

Organized, efficient, and detail‑oriented to complete work orders.

Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and emergency on‑call rotation.

Proven track record of excellent customer service.

Must have basic tools and be able to pass a basic maintenance test.

Must have reliable transportation and a valid in‑state driver’s license.

This is a full‑time position with emergency on‑call commitment and overtime during peak seasons.
