RTH FSQA Lead - 2nd Shift - Days Off: Saturday & Sunday

This role follows a 2nd shift schedule, working from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with days off on Saturday and Sunday.
Core Responsibilities
Verify and document Compliance Control Points (CCPs) and Critical Quality Points (CQPs) during production to ensure Food Safety & Quality requirements are met.
Assign daily and weekly responsibilities for FSQA Techs and Sanitors, ensuring adequate resources.
Validate ingredient accuracy against culinary recipes.
Confirm temperature limits for cook & chill processes and document accordingly.
Ensure post‑lethality products are stored properly to prevent cross‑contamination.
Conduct finished product inspections and release products in compliance with Food Safety & Quality standards.
Perform chemical titration verification prior to each use.
Check labeling accuracy for finished products.
Complete on‑line verification checks such as Metal Detection, Oxygen Analysis, pH, and seal integrity.
Escalate deviations immediately and assist with product disposition.
Conduct continuous GMP inspections and corrective actions with proper documentation.
Inspect equipment and processing areas for sanitation compliance.
Enforce Food Defense protocols as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with audits of production areas and prerequisite programs.
Perform daily, weekly, and/or monthly Food Safety tasks as assigned (GMP Audits, Metal Detection Verification, Environmental Monitoring Swabbing, Lab Equipment Calibrations, Chemical Titrations, Pre‑Shipment Review, Hold Management, and Start of Line inspections).
Hold team members and cross‑functional partners accountable to Home Chef's Food Safety expectations.
Record and verify Food Safety documents (receiving, pre‑operational, cook & chill, metal detection, Pre‑Shipment Release).
Provide training to new employees on Food Safety & Quality practices.
Coach and empower Tempo Quality Techs and Sanitation associates.
Notify leadership promptly when Food Safety or Quality issues arise, placing products on hold as needed.
Assist in non‑production duties (e.g., sweeping floors, moving product, safety investigations).
Follow and enforce the facility’s GMPs.
Support the company’s SQF and quality programs.
Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, respect, teamwork, and ownership of tasks.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in food quality preferred.
Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Quality standards.
