Steel-Con
Overview
We are seeking a CDL Driver to deliver a variety of metal framing products manufactured at Steel Construction Systems in Orlando, FL. As a CDL Driver you will be responsible for the safe handling and delivery of these materials to Steel-Con customers. This position will be based out of our Home office in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities
Safe and legal operation of commercial delivery vehicle
Safe delivery and off-loading of commercial construction materials
Safe operation of a forklift, certification is required
Participating in the accurate and orderly placement of delivered materials
Preparing and staging materials for deliveries
Continuously abiding by traffic laws and regulatory agency guidelines
Inventory control
Driver will be required to work in the production area of the facility when not making deliveries
Driver will be a representative of Steel Construction Systems, and will need to conduct his or herself with the outmost professionalism
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL license
Proven warehouse and forklift experience
Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
