Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for performing tasks involving the shipping and receiving of both raw and finished materials.
Hours Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Pay $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Operating standup forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks in a safe manner
Operating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer)
Accurate and timely selecting of customers’ orders
Accurately completing work order sheets
Working on both the Receiving and Shipping docks as needed
Unload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation and notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies
Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use
Distribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered
Daily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment
Load finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe
Maintain an accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse
Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), along with company pre‑requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
Cleaning and maintaining warehouse floor and facilities as needed
Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Follow set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times
