Job Duties

Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.

Enters data for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and/or journal entries.

Maintains spreadsheets.

Maintains filing of documents.

Performs prescribed procedures for review by accountants, supervisor or manager. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

Educational Requirement : High school education; or general education degree (GED).

Experience Requirement : An additional one year of grocery clerk experience required.

Computer Skills : Knowledge of accounting software; database software; internet software; payroll systems; spreadsheet software; word processing software.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : A driver's license may be required to work in some departments. If so, must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

Other Skills And Abilities : Must have some bookkeeping skills, basic computer skills, and data input skills as well as 10-key calculator by touch ability.

Access to OIG/GSA Sanctions: Employee must not be under sanction by OIG or GSA or listed on related sanction lists.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
