Overview
Overnight Retail Cashier role at Jacksons Food Stores. Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 an hour. This position involves delivering excellent customer service during late-night hours, processing transactions accurately, and keeping the store clean and organized. Location: 897 S Cole Rd Boise, ID, 83709-1864. Must be available to work between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Duties/Responsibilities
Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back. Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service. Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.). Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out. Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly. Assist with additional store duties as needed. Skills/Qualifications
Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends (24/7 operation). A passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude. Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing. A team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus. Ability to think quickly and adapt to change. Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco). NV Only – Must be of legal age to work around slot machines. Physical Requirements
Frequently stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and listen. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds. Work in conditions that include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning products. Benefits
