Overview
Job Title:
Production Operator - 2nd Shift
Role Summary:
This role involves operating production equipment, ensuring product and quality specifications are met, and actively participating in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
Operate production equipment, troubleshoot, and adjust operations to meet product and quality specifications.
Record production data and other results as required.
Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
Actively participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision.
Be adaptable to scheduling requirements, including shiftwork, overtime, and weekend work where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
Able to work safely in a manufacturing setting and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to apply basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Proficiency in taking measurements to verify product specifications.
Basic maintenance skills and familiarity with common hand tools (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
Effective teamwork and communication skills with all co-workers.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Salary:
$25.03
Shifts:
1st shift (7am-3pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)
Rate of pay:
May be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
