Position Summary This entry‑level coordinator is responsible for overall coordination to ensure all company goals are met for a particular operation(s) and client(s). The role participates in contracting activities associated with Independent Contractors (ICs) that provide delivery equipment and transport products from our clients’ locations to designated locations as requested by the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor routes to ensure all are covered, IC check‑in is complete, and routes run on time.
Create routes pursuant to customer requirements and communicate changes to dispatch and ICs.
Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer delivery times are met.
Communicate any delays or problems to the customer and dispatch department.
Ensure ICs are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer.
Ensure compliance with IC login process and EC‑mobile.
Work directly with ICs to assist with issues encountered while under dispatch.
Assist in arranging STAT coverage for customers as needed.
When necessary, restructure routes to maintain on‑time execution.
Assist with contracting of ICs as needed.
Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
Process administrative reports and paperwork.
Follow up with ICs to ensure paperwork is up to date.
Ensure ICs are providing services with a uniform shirt and visible ID badge as required for identification and security.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) experience.
Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or deadlines.
Valid driver’s license and a clean, functional vehicle.
Ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with customers.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Qualifications – Experience, Education, Certificates, and Licenses
College degree or high‑school diploma with equivalent experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
Shift & Pay Shift Days:
Monday through Friday
Shift Hours:
7:30 am – 4:30 pm (available for extra hours, weekends, and holidays as preferred)
Pay Rate:
$20 – $22 per hour (dependent upon experience level)
Travel On occasion
