Location Onsite - 6919 N Dale Mabry Hwy. STE 320, Tampa, FL 33614

This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage administrative intake of members

Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers

Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles

Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review

Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting including with referrals and prior authorizations

Intermediate level of knowledge with Availity insurance portal and with the Medicare Advantage insurance model

Beginner level of knowledge of general office procedures

Beginner level of knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, smart sheets, etc.)

Bilingual in English/Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of related work experience including data entry

ICD 10 and CPT coding experience

Prior experience with EMR computer applications, eClinicals

Knowledge in doing authorizations for Optimum, Freedom, WellCare, Humana and United is a plus

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
