Design Technologies Specialist
to join its collaborative team in
Parsippany, NJ . This individual will serve a key function in providing front-line, advanced level technical support for AutoCAD and Civil 3D and other engineering technologies. This role will also include assessing firm-wide CAD training needs, and designing, developing, and implementing CAD and site/civil custom training. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to assess firm-wide CAD training needs and design, develop, and implement CAD and site/civil custom training. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Applied Technologies leadership on the oversight of Firm-wide CAD standards; Provide front line, advanced level technical support for AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other engineering technologies, with a focus on customer service and responsiveness; Document answers to common technical support questions and identify solutions to issues. Author white papers to promote proper application of design technologies; Recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services performed; Provide guidance to staff on engineering technology and associated Firm-wide advancements in design technologies; and Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; FE/EIT certification required, PE license a plus; 5+ years of related site/civil land development experience; Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to troubleshoot software issues; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities; and Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Certain US jurisdictions require Langan to include an estimate of salary or hourly ranges. The estimated range for this role is:
$100,000 - $130,000 . Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Eligibility and actual paid time off may vary based on local law and factors such as hours worked, related work experience and level.
