Practice Manager – Sleep Center
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Practice Manager!
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the functions of the Sleep Center, ensuring that the registration, billing, collection, and medical records departments are in compliance with the organization’s philosophy, policies, procedures, goals, and budget. The position ensures fiscal functions are conducted in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and the organization’s specific practices, and that billing and coding practices comply with all State, Federal, and local laws. The Practice Manager also protects the integrity of information regarding patients, staff, and physicians and maintains accurate, confidential medical and billing records.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in related area preferred.
Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
Demonstrated skills in verbal, written English, and public speaking ability.
Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for personal professional advancement and that of others.
Experience in budgeting and personnel management, and evidence of continuing education directly related to the job specification.
Experience with general healthcare billing/collections and electronic medical records systems (Greenway specifically) is highly preferred.
