What You'll Do

May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project‑required tracking devices.

Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.

Participate in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.

Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.

Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.

Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities.

Under the direction of Project Manager III and/or Sr. Project Manager, support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.

Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.

Represent the company in project meetings.

Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.

Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.

Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client.

May assist with the development of new business opportunities.

What You Bring To Us

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).

Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management role.

Tool install experience.

Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle.

Prioritizes and manages multiple asks, changing priorities as necessary.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.

Interacts effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

Travel

Up to 25%

Working Conditions

May work at a job site or in the office.

General environment is primarily on active construction sites: sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.

Indoor conditions with variable lighting and temperature.

Noise level typically low to medium; can be loud on a job site.

Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
