Job summary We are seeking an

Enterprise Program Portfolio Manager

to drive and coordinate some of the Associations' largest and most complex programs. The role is responsible for managing the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic direction. Partnering across the enterprise, this role manages the inventory of approved organizational initiatives which support the Associations’ strategic plan and delivers actionable insights that enhance decision‑making, drive alignment, and advance the Associations' priorities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Portfolio Planning and Prioritization

Partner with leadership to support the ongoing evolution of the enterprise portfolio management framework, including intake, evaluation, and prioritization of programs and projects, driving alignment to the overall business strategy.

Provide thought leadership in the ongoing evolution of portfolio management processes and tools to support enterprise-level prioritization and planning.

Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to inform and guide investment and delivery decisions across the enterprise. Assess, manage, and communicate portfolio priorities to ensure initiatives are executed in alignment with strategic importance.

Plan, facilitate, and evolve ceremonies related to portfolio management, prioritization, and planning. Collaborate with teams to estimate and forecast cost, value, and resource requirements for new and existing initiatives.

Portfolio Governance and Reporting

Develop and deliver effective presentations and communication materials instrumental in portfolio planning and governance processes, including reports, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations. These reports will provide status details, capacity models, investment allocations, and other insights.

Prepare quarterly and monthly strategic program status reports for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.

Design and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility and transparency across the enterprise portfolio, tracking program status, workforce capacity, budgets, and resource allocations.

Deliver insights and analytics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvements in strategic portfolio management.

Travel

Percentage of time required to travel during the day - 10%

Percentage of time required to travel overnight - 10%

Education requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Technology, Economics or other related field is preferred.

Years of experience

8+ years experience in large-scale project or program portfolio management with experience leading enterprise initiatives across divisions/teams, the ability to monitor the work of others, nurture positive relationships across the organization, and provide coaching to project or program team members as needed.

Certification and technical requirements

Lean Portfolio Management certification preferred.
