As a Project Manager - Project Business, you will be responsible for managing the execution of large and complex customer orders within our Make-to-Order (MTO) framework. This role is pivotal in aligning customer requirements with Hilti’s global resources, ensuring seamless collaboration across field teams, hub offices, and our distribution network to deliver successful, high-impact projects.
What You'll do
Responsible for the timely and complete delivery of materials for orders under the Project Business criteria. This entails working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the order is delivered according to the customer's requirements
Lead and coordinate cross-functionally between PMO, Materials Management, Legal, Credit, Transportation/Logistics, and field sales team to align and manage tasks
Define/manage overall project schedule; assign tasks/deadlines to project team as necessary during execution of work
Maintain a high level of communication with field counterparts to ensure alignment on project-relevant details
Coordinate efforts with internal stakeholders to ensure supplies are available for production at our Value-Added Service Centers and the workstreams are setup for execution and delivery
As required, ensure proper documentation of work throughout project, including risk assessment
Monitor the end-to-end fulfillment process to ensure customer satisfaction, monitor quality, and take proactive measures to solve problems when issues surface
Work cross-functionally to improve the reliability and efficiency of the processes for executing Project Business orders for a satisfying customer experience

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree, required
Engineering degree, preferred
Master's degree, preferred
Minimum three (3) years' Construction or similar Project Management experience, required
High level of functional expertise regarding Supply Chain operations, processes, and systems
Knowledge of ERP software required, SAP preferred
Experience documenting processes and communicating changes
Lean Explorer Certified, preferred
Ability to de-escalate and influence others without direct authority
Ability to coach, mentor and train others
Ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and with team members as well as stakeholders at different levels of the organization, spoken and written
