What You’ll Do In Your Role
Participate in state regulatory proceedings relevant to T-Mobile’s interests, with a particular focus on matters before state public utilities’ commissions, including the California Public Utilities Commission
Evaluate proposed regulatory, legislative and/or policy changes and develop materials to support advocacy efforts in various forums
Advocate before state public utilities commissions in regulatory proceedings
Build and develop relationships with state regulators and organizations to represent T‑Mobile’s interests and positions
Advise business clients on the impact of proposed policy or regulatory changes on T‑Mobile
Collaborate with Government Affairs colleagues, Legal team members and internal teams on various telecommunications and/or industry issues
Deliver easy‑to‑understand written and oral advice in a timely matter
Other duties as assigned

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be a team player and work in a fast‑paced and innovative work environment
Excellent decision making and problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency with contemporary productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and emerging AI‑powered technologies
Experience and Education
A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required
2+ years as a practicing attorney with relevant government, in‑house or law firm experience
Demonstrated prior experience with telecommunications law and policy, in particular FCC/State Public Utilities Commission experience preferred
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Salary and Benefits Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200. Corporate Bonus Target: 15%. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual starting pay will vary within this range based on work location, qualifications, and experience.
