Trusts & Estates Associate
to join its established
Trust, Estate & Wealth Preservation
practice in Naples, Florida. This role supports long-term succession planning and continued growth within a sophisticated private wealth practice.
About the Role The ideal candidate will have
at least 6 years of experience
managing client relationships and handling complex estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients on advanced wealth transfer strategies and post-mortem administration.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on sophisticated estate and wealth transfer planning
Draft and implement complex estate planning instruments, including GST-exempt trusts, GRATs, SLATs, and IDGTs
Manage direct client relationships and provide high-touch client service
Handle post-mortem estate and trust administration
Prepare and/or review federal tax filings, including Forms 706, 709, and 1041
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to deliver integrated solutions
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school
6+ years of trusts and estates experience
Demonstrated experience with taxable estates and multi-generational wealth planning
Strong interpersonal, communication, and client‑management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
Practice Overview The Trusts & Estates practice advises individuals and families on estate planning, wealth preservation, and succession strategies, with a focus on complex planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
