The Opportunity The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager and is responsible for maintaining shopping carts, assisting customers with purchases and their vehicles, checking product prices, returning merchandise to shelves, and maintaining cleanliness of the parking lot and store areas.
Specific Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and into their vehicles.
Check retail prices on shelves for check‑stand personnel.
Retrieve merchandise from the check stand (“go backs”) and return it to the proper shelf; walk aisles and return misplaced items to their proper location; face merchandise on aisles as needed.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the store entrance, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal; maintain the store’s interior during the day.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms during the day.
