This role focuses on promoting BD products within the Peripheral Intervention business unit, providing clinical support and education to physicians and hospital staff in a defined geographic area.
Responsibilities
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on the technical aspects of BDPI products through case support, in-servicing, and physician education programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians.
Obtain new users and applications for company products and services.
Observe and report market trends that affect BDPI sales, service and product development.
Represent BDPI in accordance with policies and procedures.
Process customer complaints and returns following established procedures and policy.
Maintain company automobile and company property.
Complete and process BDPI reports, including Procedural Specialist reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, and complaint reports.
Support endovascular procedures and fulfill the duty of a Territory Manager in vacant territories as directed by the District Manager.
Required Qualifications
Product knowledge and understanding of all BDPI product features and benefits.
Knowledge of surgical and endovascular procedures sufficient to support clinical cases.
Adequate understanding of basic anatomy, medical and surgical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years experience in the Operating Room, Interventional Radiology Lab, or Cardiac Cath Lab.
Current credentialing and/or certification in the respective clinical discipline.
Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery, and endovascular medicine.
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet deadlines.
Self‑motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and works with minimal supervision.
Frequent travel required.
Associate’s degree or B.S. in Nursing, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, or related discipline (preferred).
For certain roles, BD requires a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week. The work location is USA, AZ – Tempe Headquarters. Employment is full‑time.
