Base pay: $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
This role is with an established multidisciplinary design firm in Naples, Florida, serving multi‑family, commercial, and hospitality clients. The Senior Interior Designer is a highly experienced practitioner who independently manages complex design assignments, contributes strategic design insight, and supports project teams across all phases of delivery. This position is hands‑on and collaborative, with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and professional judgment rather than direct people management.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage and execute interior design projects of moderate to high complexity
Coordinate the design process with clients, internal teams, consultants, and vendors while working within established project budgets
Develop, review, and refine design deliverables including concept development, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction‑phase services
Collaborate closely with the FF&E team to ensure alignment between architectural intent, furnishings, and material selections
Serve as a technical and creative resource for team members by offering guidance, feedback, and problem‑solving support
Contribute to client presentations and participate in key project discussions
Coordinate with consulting disciplines including civil, architectural, structural, landscape, and MEP teams
Support project planning activities such as scheduling input, workload coordination, and cost awareness
Uphold and model a workplace culture that values accountability, positivity, curiosity, creativity, integrity, and collaboration
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture (accredited program preferred)
10+ years of professional interior design experience within multi‑family, commercial, and/or hospitality environments
Minimum of 3 years focused on multi‑family projects
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with at least 3–5 years of professional application
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop) and Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint; familiarity with project scheduling or management software is a plus
Experience using 3D and visualization tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, or similar platforms
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Clear, confident written and verbal communication abilities
Polished presentation skills and fluency in design and construction terminology
Thorough understanding of current design trends, materials, finishes, and furnishings
Advanced space planning skills with working knowledge of building codes, systems, and construction methods
Awareness of current material pricing, specifications, and procurement considerations
Travel & Work Conditions
Travel required approximately 25–50% depending on project and client needs
Hands‑on involvement in developing and refining custom design solutions
Regularly required to sit, stand, speak, and listen
Occasional walking, reaching, and movement across active or uneven project sites
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. will be required upon hire.
