Description & Requirements Bloomberg’s Enterprise Data business delivers trusted, high-quality data and analytics that power critical workflows across banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, and corporations. Within Enterprise Data, the Risk & Investment Analytics (RIA) team develops data-driven solutions that quantify emerging and complex risks. Our products, including Liquidity Assessment (LQA), Market Implied Probability of Default (MIPD), and new digital asset-related datasets, combine Bloomberg’s proprietary data with clear, robust calculations and models to support institutional risk and investment teams.

What is the role? We are seeking a Product Manager to define and deliver new digital asset-focused data and analytics within the RIA suite. This role centers on the growing intersection of digital assets and traditional instruments, such as tokenized securities, ETFs with crypto exposures, and corporates with digital asset holdings.

You will identify and assess new datasets, design decision-useful calculations, and partner with engineering, data scientists, and our global data team to build robust enterprise data solutions. You will engage closely with institutional clients to understand evolving workflows, including how they use AI-powered interfaces to consume data. Internally, you will also help identify areas where AI can streamline analysis and improve product development.

This role suits someone with strong digital asset expertise, product judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to work across technical and client-facing teams.

We’ll trust you to:

Shape the product vision for digital asset products within the Risk & Investment Analytics suite

Drive commercial strategy by assessing market opportunities and leading go-to-market plan

Identify and prioritize new data sources and define requirements for ingestion, modeling, and validation

Develop new classifications, rules-based logic, and calculations that clarify digital asset exposure, liquidity, and market dynamics

Engage with institutional clients to understand workflows and translate needs into clear product roadmaps and specifications

Work closely with Engineering, Quant Research, Global Data, and other partners to operationalize prototypes into scalable production systems

Identify how AI-driven consumption patterns (e.g., agentic workflows, MCP interactions) should inform product design, and where internal AI can enhance analysis and development processes

Manage roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-team alignment around digital asset initiatives

Communicate product direction to clients, leadership, sales, and internal partners, and incorporate feedback into roadmap updates

You’ll need to have:

5+ years of product management or related experience in digital assets, financial data, or risk analytics

Strong understanding of digital asset market structure, tokenization of real-world assets, and institutional use cases

Familiarity with statistical analysis, data modeling, or quantitative workflows

Technical fluency in prototyping and data analysis (Python preferred)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering, quantitative teams, and commercial stakeholders

Solid understanding of Bloomberg data and institutional client needs

We’d love to see:

Background in commercial strategy, product marketing, or P&L ownership

Experience integrating on-chain data, off-chain vendor datasets, or blockchain-native signals

Familiarity with AI-driven data consumption and tools that automate analysis of unstructured datasets

Understanding of regulatory developments affecting digital assets globally
