Role Overview
The Quotations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating the bidding quotation process for customer requests and projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while aligning with sales and profitability objectives.
Shift:
Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project blueprints and identify specifications for preparing a bill of materials.
Formulate unique pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and management representatives.
Submit project bid proposals accurately and within deadlines.
Monitor ordering activities associated with bid projects to ensure pricing and terms accuracy.
Communicate proactively with customers throughout the quotation/bid process.
Stay informed about inventory, including appropriate product substitutions.
Develop product knowledge through training classes.
Negotiate special pricing contracts and maintain accurate documentation.
Foster effective working relationships with Sales Associates, Inside Sales Associates, and support personnel.
Exchange customers’ needs information timely.
What You Bring
Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent on the job experience.
3+ years of experience with electrical and lighting products and related project materials.
Strong customer and vendor relationship building skills.
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal formats.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to read blueprints and spec layouts accurately.
Attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Time management and organization skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Commitment to high ethical standards governing professional behavior.
