Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage and work effectively with store management and crews.
Supervise the crew by assigning tasks, directing activities, and following up.
Communicate information between store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints, and promote the CVS customer service culture.
Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute display, sign, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Reset departments following Plan‑of‑Good (POGs).
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred but not required).
Hours & Compensation
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour.
