Manager on Duty
O.Henry Hotel is looking for a friendly and energetic Manager on Duty to join our team of enthusiastic hospitality professionals who provide outstanding experiences to the guests we serve in a fast‑paced environment. To deliver the type of outstanding experience we provide, we need remarkable individuals who are committed to making a difference.

Responsibilities
Provide shift leadership to a team of 5-6 people while also communicating with housekeeping, engineering and other departments to ensure the shift runs efficiently.
Use appropriate resources to collaborate and solve any issues that arise during the shift, anticipate how future shifts will be affected and communicate that information.
Prioritize and coordinate tasks to maintain smooth daily operations of the hotel including Front Desk, Porters, Housekeeping, Engineering and Event Assistance.
Learn how to use the phone, computer programs and other hotel systems and procedures to aid in taking care of our guests.
Coach fellow colleagues on ways that we can deliver ever‑increasing levels of delight for our guests while following the intentions listed in our missions.
Take responsibility for recruiting and hiring great people, then develop them into Lucky Star staff members.
Be an advocate for our guests and staff members.
Establish and maintain hotel and guest relationships by learning what our guests need and communicating those needs to the appropriate departments.
Have a passion for safety and maintain a high level of cleanliness and a sanitary workplace at all times.
Desired Skills and Experience
Schedule availability to include weekdays, weeknights and weekends (we are open for all holidays and scheduling will include holiday shifts).
Friendly, energetic and detail‑oriented.
Passion for hospitality.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
