SUMMARY: The Marketing Assistant is an on-site position and provides administrative and operational support to the Marketing Department, assisting with workflow coordination, event logistics, inventory management, and marketing task execution. This part-time role supports the day-to-day effectiveness of marketing initiatives and helps ensure the timely, organized delivery of projects aligned with UT Federal Credit Union's brand and goals.

SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY: This is a part-time position with a minimum of approximately 20 hours per week. UT Federal Credit Union offers flexibility in scheduling, with hours arranged in coordination with the Chief Marketing Officer to meet both departmental needs and employee availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with administrative support for credit union, community, and sponsor events.

Organize and maintain inventory of promotional items, stationery, and branded collateral.

Manage and track marketing task workflows and priorities.

Coordinate calendars, schedules, and timelines for marketing events, ensuring all planning, logistics, and deadlines are organized and communicated.

Process and track marketing support tickets.

Assist with the fulfillment and distribution of corporate wear orders.

Maintain the marketing department archive and records.

Prepare written and verbal updates; maintain strong organization and documentation.

Assist in preparing marketing and credit union award submissions.

Participate in team meetings to discuss marketing plans and objectives.

Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.

Other duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Effectively use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams), ticketing systems, and Monday.com to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and support cross-functional workflows.

Maintain a basic understanding of credit union products and services.

Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a part-time work schedule.

Represent the credit union professionally at all times.

Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication with consistent organization, follow-up, and attention to detail.

Exhibit initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to apply organization, creativity, and basic technological proficiency to daily work.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Prior administrative or office support experience required, with a general understanding of marketing support functions.

Familiarity with credit union or financial services marketing is preferred.

Associate's degree preferred.

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.

Ability to build trust and effectively collaborate with diverse groups.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, apply common-sense reasoning, and exercise sound judgment in routine work situations.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, effective prioritization skills and effective time management.

Working knowledge of credit union products and services and general awareness of credit union operations.

Ability to use a personal computer and standard workplace technology, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams), ticketing systems, and Monday.com.
