Career Area Procurement
What You Will Do
Lead the Enterprise Control Tower (ECT) process to allocate supplier material when supplier shipment capability does not meet enterprise demand requirements, including creating and maintaining weekly coverage files, governing ECT, maintaining training/standard work, and ensuring data quality with the digital product team.
Develop and lead improvement plans to support procurement, operations, and suppliers interfacing with the Enterprise Control Tower.
Perform analysis and maintenance of ECT processes that produce output excellence, build expertise for the assigned process area, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Perform proactive analytical assessments in support of strategic initiatives.
Education Requirement Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Collects, organizes, and analyzes relevant data to support decisions.
Uses basic tools for data evaluation and interpretation.
Analytical Thinking

Optimizes processes to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
Coaches and trains others on advanced system tools and techniques.
Resolves complex issues and integrates the system with other applications.
Top Candidates Will Also Have Previous operation planning or supplier interfacing experience. Basic Power BI skills. Excel skills including Pivot Tables, V/X Lookups, and Macros. Data analytic experience.
Additional Details
This role is 100% on‑site at our Mossville, IL location (Monday–Friday).

Travel requirements: Less than 10%.
Summary Pay Range $97,530.00 – $146,290.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
