THE JOB The Merchandise Department oversees the merchandise programs for festivals produced by C3 Presents. This includes financial planning and analysis, creative development and production, retail partnership management, and sales operations for on‑site and e‑commerce channels.

What This Role Will Do Ecommerce Support

Enter, track, and manage all e‑commerce product orders from creation through receipt, including creating purchase orders and providing shipment tracking updates to 3PL and fulfillment partners

Review, manage, and submit all e‑commerce related expenses for payment through C3PO, the internal expense platform

Maintain online product listings, including updates to product images, descriptions, inventory levels, and item costs

Monitor reorder and restocking reports to support sales targets and inventory needs

Support the Ecommerce Manager with cross‑department collaboration by liaising with the C3 Marketing team to help execute on merchandise launch campaigns

Track 3PL performance, ensuring timely order fulfillment, accurate inventory receiving

Monitor social media channels and customer support inboxes for feedback and issues

Assist Ecommerce Manager in coordinating post‑festival inventory plans and logistics with festival concessionaires

Operations Support

Support the Operations Manager with production budgets by gathering estimates, tracking costs against budget, entering expenses into C3PO.

Coordinate advancing needs for credentials, meals and other on‑site needs through Amp, the advancing platform.

Track and ensure all relevant contracts and documentation are secured – including permits, certificates of insurance, and agreements for merchandise vendors and contractors

Manage build and strike schedules, coordinating with internal C3 departments and third‑party vendors and suppliers

Order signage for all stores and oversee installation with guidance from the Operations Manager

Maintain accurate logs of merchandise equipment and inventory stored at the C3 warehouse, tracking deployment for on‑site use as needed

Additional Support

Provide administrative support to the Director of Merchandise, including scheduling meetings, handling expenses, and process documentation

Coordinate post‑event debriefs and post‑mortems by collecting data and insights from relevant team members

Support merchandise creative managers during peak season with design‑related deliverables such as menu boards, product photography, signage, etc.

Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned

What This Person Will Bring

1–2 years’ experience in retail merchandising, e‑commerce, and event planning

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered

Experience in retail, e‑commerce operations, creative development, and product development

Familiarity with merchandising and marketing strategies within a retail environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite

Working knowledge of project management tools such as Asana and Airtable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external business partners

Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and sound judgement in all business interactions

Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to excellence with a positive and collaborative approach

Ability to implement detailed and process‑driven workflows, with an emphasis on cross‑departmental collaboration

Creative, curious mindset with an interest in fashion, merchandise, and live events

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain positive in high‑pressure environments

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Willingness and ability to travel and work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends during festivals
