*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobile Podiatrist to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients in various long-term care facilities. This role involves delivering specialized podiatric services directly at patient locations, ensuring accessible and high-quality care for diverse populations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes across outpatient, inpatient, and post-acute care settings.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough podiatric assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews. * Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions utilizing advanced techniques such as wound care, dermatology assessments, and biomechanical evaluations. * Perform procedures including suturing, ingrown toenail removal, and other minor surgical interventions using aseptic techniques. * Utilize medical imaging tools like CT scans or radiography when necessary for diagnostic evaluation. * Manage complex cases involving diabetic foot ulcers, perioperative care, or post-operative recovery. * Document all patient encounters accurately within EMR/EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including endocrinologists, orthopedists, vascular specialists, and primary care providers to develop comprehensive care plans. * Educate patients on foot health, preventative measures, and lifestyle modifications through health coaching. * Stay current with clinical research developments in podiatry and related fields such as dermatology, rheumatology, or sports medicine to enhance clinical practice.

*Requirements*

* Valid state licensure as a Podiatrist with active certification. * Proven experience in outpatient or hospital-based podiatric care; experience in telehealth is a plus. * Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to podiatric medicine. * Experience performing diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging modalities like radiography or CT scans. * Ability to perform minor surgical procedures including suturing and wound management in various settings. * Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations. * Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in clinical procedures. * Ability to work independently in multiple (consistent) locations while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
