Data Analyst – TEKsystems
One of TEKsystems top customers is looking for a Data Analyst.
Description
The Senior Analyst will provide performance measurement and strategic analysis to influence marketing priorities. This individual will be responsible for interacting with various departments within the company to find, consolidate & manipulate data from multiple large data sets; to analyze and understand results to provide insights to the business; and to create reports and/or dashboards for the applicable business owners of each cruise brand. The role requires a self‑starter who can complete small projects with little direction and who can perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on the performance of a wide variety of email campaigns.
- Influence business decisions through analytics and identify actionable, data‑driven insights.
- Aggregate large data sets for analysis and develop data strategies around data structures, identifying critical information and the tools used to retrieve and analyze the data.
- Create dashboards, automated reports, report templates & presentations. Use data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to provide an easy‑to‑understand interface for end users to quickly identify key themes within data.
- Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting on business trends to enhance the customer experience.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) required with a focus in Marketing, Business, Finance or another quantitative discipline preferred.
- 2–3 years of work experience required, with experience performing strategic digital analysis, financial analysis or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to manipulate large data sets and a strong understanding of relational databases.
- Experience developing dashboards with advanced data visualizations in Power BI.
- Experience in travel/leisure hospitality preferred.
- Ability to work with and manipulate large sets of data to make tactical decisions with large financial impacts with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem‑solving and problem‑identification skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Availability to work 4 x per week onsite (Mon‑Thu) and Friday remote.
- Opportunity to convert to full‑time role.
Location & Job Type
This is a contract position based out of Miami, FL. The position is hybrid: 4 x per week onsite (Mon‑Thu) with Friday remote.

Pay range: $40.00 – $45.00 /hr.
