Our client, a high‑growth startup building out our accounting function, is looking for an Accounting Manager with a strong technical foundation who can take ownership of complex accounting areas as we scale.

This role is a great fit for someone coming from Big 4 who enjoys digging into technical issues, partnering cross‑functionally, and operating in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and partner closely with external auditors throughout the audit cycle
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos and policy documentation
• Own complex accounting areas, including ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Review customer contracts and assess revenue implications
• Play a key role in month‑end close and financial reporting
• Help build and improve scalable accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications

• Big 4 experience required
• Hands on experience with ASC 606
• Background in audit, technical accounting, revenue accounting, or a blend
• Ability to operate in a high‑growth, evolving environment

Bonus

• Experience at a startup or high‑growth company
• Exposure to complex customer contracts or SaaS‑style revenue models
• CPA
