Our client in the fashion space is seeking a Senior Director of eCommerce Ops who is a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for owning and scaling the DTC site and Amazon businesses, with a primary focus on product presentation, site experience, merchandising, conversion optimization, and platform performance. This role partners closely with Marketing on traffic and acquisition while maintaining clear ownership of the site, product storytelling, and the Amazon ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end performance for the DTC site and Amazon channels, including conversion, AOV, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Lead the vision and execution of a best-in-class onsite customer experience across desktop and mobile.
  • Drive a product-led ecommerce strategy, including PDP optimization, navigation, launches, collections, pricing presentation, and promotional storytelling.
  • Own Amazon channel strategy, ensuring strong content, merchandising, discoverability, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute a clear ecommerce roadmap aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, and Operations to align launches, inventory, and storytelling.
  • Manage ecommerce platforms, Amazon tools, agencies, and technology partners.
  • Use data, testing, and customer insights to continuously improve site and Amazon performance.
  • Stay closely connected to ecommerce and Amazon best practices, bringing practical, forward-thinking ideas into the business.

Who You Are

  • A senior ecommerce leader with deep experience running DTC sites and Amazon, ideally within fashion, accessories, or premium consumer brands.
  • Strong in product storytelling, UX, and merchandising, with experience collaborating closely (but not owning) paid acquisition.
  • Equally comfortable setting strategy and executing in the details.
  • Customer-obsessed, commercially minded, and brand-aware.
  • A confident cross-functional partner who thrives in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of ecommerce or digital leadership experience with direct ownership of DTC site and Amazon channels.
  • Proven track record improving ecommerce performance through product, UX, and merchandising excellence.
  • Experience leading platform strategy and managing external partners.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
