Sales & Procurement Manager – heavy equipment resale (#34625)

In the San Francisco Bay area, a global industrial heavy equipment resale company is looking for a Sales & Procurement Manager to join their organization. Ideal candidate will have heavy equipment sales and procurement experience with a good understanding of manufacturer’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop customer relationships throughout the NorCal area
• Purchase or consign heavy equipment for company auctions. Responsible for the procurement of used construction equipment
• Manage vendors and handle logistics domestically and internationally
• Reporting directly to VP: develop territory throughout the Northern California region, managing all client and prospective transactions.
• Build on a network of rental companies, contractors and dealers to source purchases.
• Appraise, negotiate and purchase equipment maximizing revenue and profit.
• Work both remotely and from the office. (hybrid)
• Other job duties are assigned as needed

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in construction equipment sales/purchasing
• Familiarity with Excel and CRM software
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field
• Must be able work remotely from home and also travel up to 80% (as needed)
• Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
