Pay:
$2900-$3100 Weekly Gross (Local & Travel rates available)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 4x10's or 3x12's; Night and Evening shift options available.
Certification Needed:
ARRT (CT)
Job Summary
As a contract CT Technologist, you will support a diverse patient population within a high-functioning medical environment. The facility is a designated Stroke Center, and the team manages a variety of urgent and routine cases, including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and CTA imaging. You will be responsible for the full scope of CT operations, from equipment oversight and troubleshooting to patient care and precise diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities Operate Siemens CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Manage patient volume efficiently, primarily within the Emergency Department and inpatient settings. Perform venipuncture and administer IV contrast injections as required for diagnostic procedures. Ensure accurate patient positioning and strictly adhere to all radiation safety protocols. Work independently during overnight hours, providing critical imaging support for stroke and trauma cases. Depending on site placement, provide additional support in X-ray imaging to ensure seamless department operations during low-volume hours. Maintain accurate records and documentation within the Epic EMR system. Qualifications and Experience Technical Skills:
Proven experience in operating CT machinery (Siemens preferred), patient positioning, and contrast usage. System Knowledge:
Proficiency with Epic EMR and Merge PACS is highly preferred. Clinical Skills:
Strong proficiency in venipuncture and IV injections. Experience:
Sufficient clinical background to work independently and integrate quickly into a new clinical team.
