Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

to join our IT team. This position will be

full-time, onsite, and is a contract

position.

What You’ll Do: Drive end to end delivery of cybersecurity infrastructure projects to deploy cybersecurity tools

Build and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and schedules; manage scope, risks, dependencies, and milestones

Facilitate technical discussions, design reviews, and decision-making sessions with engineering and architecture teams

Ensure projects adhere to security frameworks, compliance requirements, and internal governance standards

Understand and communicate technical concepts related to cybersecurity infrastructure, platforms, endpoint protection, cloud security controls, and network segmentation

Collaborate with security engineers to evaluate tools and architectures

Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, and escalations

Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable updates for leadership and non-technical stakeholders

Coordinate across cross functional teams including IT operations, cloud engineering, compliance, and product teams

Champion project management best practices, including Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies

Implement metrics and reporting dashboards to track progress, quality, and security posture improvements

Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, documentation, and communication

What You’ll Need: Required: 5+ years of technical project or program/project management experience, ideally within cybersecurity, infrastructure, or cloud environments

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network architecture, and enterprise IT systems

Proven ability to manage complex, multi team technical initiatives

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Excellent communication, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills

Power BI and/or Tableau experience to manage projects and perform metrics summaries during the life of the project

Preferred: Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar

Experience with zero trust architectures, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), or large scale infrastructure modernization and tooling

Background in engineering, security operations, or systems administration

Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$85 - $95 per hour The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
