Providing compassionate, skilled nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment calls for dedication, flexibility, and a strong clinical background. This contract position in Littleton, CO offers an opportunity to support patients in a well-established medical center known for its commitment to excellence and Magnet designation achievements. Qualifications: Active RN license with stepdown or progressive care experience Current BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred Chemo certification is a plus, enabling work on the Oncology unit Ability to adapt and float across Med/Telemetry and Rehab units Strong teamwork skills and compassion for patients are essential Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care on a 345-bed unit with a focus on cardiac and medical patients Manage patient care ratios averaging 1:5 during day and night shifts, adjusting as needed Utilize EMR systems (Meditech) efficiently for documentation and communication Participate in multidisciplinary care plans and floating assignments within the unit Deliver high-quality care supporting both acute and chronic medical conditions Engage in ongoing learning opportunities to enhance clinical skills Location:Situated in Littleton, CO, this role offers access to a vibrant community with beautiful mountain views and a welcoming atmosphere.
