Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Shawnee, KS. This contract role requires an immediate start with a scheduled end date of May 29, 2026. The position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, managing a caseload of approximately 35 students. Key responsibilities include delivering direct student services, conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, and writing detailed evaluation reports. The SLP will also be responsible for developing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as well as facilitating and presenting at both evaluation and IEP meetings to ensure adherence to special education requirements and collaborative planning. Desired qualifications and experience: Speech-Language Pathology certification (CCC) preferred Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Expertise in school-based speech and language services Ability to assess and treat a diverse caseload of elementary-aged students Strong skills in evaluation report writing and IEP development Effective communication and collaborative skills for meeting facilitation This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills within an educational setting.
