*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings and a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention strategies to enhance communication skills.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. * Implement speech therapy interventions to improve articulation, fluency, and language comprehension. * Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's development. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. * Educate patients and families about speech disorders and provide strategies for home practice. * Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy and pediatric care.
*Requirements*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. * Experience in school settings preferred; pediatric experience is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care principles. * Familiarity with early intervention techniques and strategies for children with communication disorders. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
