Key Qualifications and Experience: Current RN licensure with 2+ years of operating room experience Proficiency in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology cases Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; CNOR preferred Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system is essential Ability to float between multiple campuses as operational needs dictate Strong critical thinking skills and the capacity to lead and anticipate patient needs in the OR Primary Responsibilities: Partner with surgical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout surgical procedures Maintain readiness of supplies and equipment to facilitate timely surgical cases Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patient families Update and manage physician preference cards accurately Assist and scrub in surgeries while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Supervise and support staff delivering patient care in the operating room Location Insights:Fort Myers, Florida, is a vibrant city known for its beautiful beaches, warm climate, and strong community spirit.
