We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Engineer I
to join our team. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in
construction engineering, project management, and fieldwork
while supporting the successful execution of infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer I will work under the supervision of senior engineers and project managers to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the
planning, coordination, and execution
of engineering and construction projects under supervision. Support project managers in developing
project plans, schedules, and budgets
to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Conduct
technical analyses , prepare reports, and assist with project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and field personnel, to ensure project objectives are met. Participate in
quality control and construction oversight
to verify work progress and compliance with plans and specifications. Assist in reviewing and interpreting
engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
to provide technical support during construction. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to resolve challenges and keep projects on track. Requirements: Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program Technical Skills Ability to read, interpret, and apply construction drawings, contract documents, and specifications. Familiarity with
AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D
for reviewing and understanding design plans. Proficiency in
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
for data analysis, reporting, and documentation. Experience with
Primavera P6 (P6)
or Microsoft Project for baseline schedules and progress updates. Proficiency in
Bluebeam Revu
for markups, redlining, and construction documentation. Basic knowledge of
pay applications, change orders, and contract compliance . Experience with
GIS tools
for mapping and site analysis is a plus. Qualifications or co-op experience in civil design or construction projects. Knowledge of local, state, and federal engineering standards and processes.
