*Medical Assistant - Back Office* We're looking for a *bilingual (Spanish/English) Medical Assistant* to join our team! This role supports providers with patient care and documentation in a fast-paced primary care setting.
*What You'll Do*
* Assist providers with office procedures and patient care.
* Perform blood draws (venipunctures) and handle pre-visit preparations.
* Update and review patient records for accuracy.
* Document family history and complete necessary forms.
* Review patient orders, referrals, and lab results.
* Obtain waivers and consents using the electronic medical record system.
* Prepare and disinfect exam rooms and keep supplies stocked.
* Ensure patients receive and understand their visit summary before checkout.
*MUST-HAVEs*
* *Experience:* Internal medicine, family practice, or primary care.
* *Skills:* Venipuncture/blood draws and pre-visit experience.
* *Language:* Bilingual in Spanish and English.
* *Education & Certifications:*
* High School diploma
* Medical Assistant certificate or diploma
* *BLS certification (American Heart Association only)*

This is a Contract position based out of Compton, CA.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
