The Director of AI Enablement will lead the adoption, impact, and integration of AI across the organization. Reporting to the SVP of BizOps & AI Strategy, this person will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing high-potential AI use cases both existing and emerging by deeply understanding BusPatrol’s operations and core processes. They will serve as the internal thought leader on AI trends and capabilities, educating teams on what’s possible and helping them envision how AI can enhance quality, speed, and labor productivity. This includes conducting proactive value stream mapping to uncover opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and better quality output.
The Director will also play a hands‑on role in turning ideas into action by developing MVPs or leveraging low‑code tools (e.g., N8n), and coordinating closely with technical partners to formally build and deploy solutions. They will be accountable for driving adoption of high‑impact tools and tracking their results through a robust, evolving measurement framework. This role is central to embedding AI into the way we work ensuring it becomes a sustainable, value‑generating capability across the company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead execution of AI strategy and transformation roadmap
Partner with BusPatrol’s senior leaders to execute the company‑wide AI operational transformation strategy; lead executive reviews of AI outcomes to inform strategy and investment decisions.
Own the day‑to‑day execution of the overall AI Transformation roadmap for our company, in close partnership with strategy owners and technical leaders.
Spearhead the deployment and integration of advanced AI and machine learning capabilities across the company, embedding tools such as LLMs and generative AI into critical processes.
Serve as an internal AI thought leader, staying on top of emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices, and translating them into practical, high‑impact applications for BusPatrol.
Identify and drive high‑impact AI use cases
Partner with business leaders across functions to surface, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities aligned with strategic goals, building strong cross‑functional relationships with senior stakeholders.
Translate business challenges into scalable AI/ML solutions that drive revenue, efficiency, quality, and customer engagement, including use cases that enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and engineering workflows.
Focus on the highest‑impact use cases by assessing feasibility, value potential, and strategic alignment.
Lead cross‑functional teams across business, product, engineering, and operations to scope, validate, and launch AI solutions with measurable ROI.
Independently develop and iterate on AI MVPs using low‑code/no‑code tools and prompt‑based workflows, while partnering with technical teams to harden and scale successful solutions.
Collaborate closely with the BusPatrol AI Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and operationalize AI solutions enterprise‑wide.
Maintain an enterprise AI use case portfolio, including business case, feasibility, and implementation roadmap.
Develop AI performance and accountability models
Design and implement frameworks and KPIs to measure business value from AI initiatives.
Partner with the cross‑functional AI Enablement Working Group to establish, operationalize, and continuously improve the AI governance framework and processes, enabling safe, responsible, and high‑impact AI adoption with minimal friction.
Partner closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Security teams to ensure AI solutions are deployed responsibly and safely, with appropriate controls and risk management in place.
Champion AI change management and cultural adoption
Define the AI Cultural framework and champion the AI mindset at BusPatrol.
Drive change management and adoption of deployed AI solutions, ensuring teams understand how AI fits into their workflows and how to use it effectively.
Create tailored education materials, quick‑reference guides, and enablement content that resonate with BusPatrol leaders and their teams, ensuring clarity, relevance, and impact.
Deliver engaging presentations, demos, and coaching sessions to BusPatrol leadership and their staff, translating complex technology into business‑relevant insights.
Set up and lead a network of cross departmental AI Champions to scale adoption across the organization.
Partner with product management and engineering leaders to identify how AI can be incorporated into BusPatrol’s products and platforms over time, helping shape a later‑phase roadmap for AI‑powered product enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in consulting, technology enablement, digital transformation, or a related field, with demonstrated success leading cross‑functional initiatives in complex organizations.
At least 3 years of focused experience in AI enablement, AI transformation, or a closely related area, driving adoption and measurable business impact.
Experience partnering with business, product, engineering, marketing, customer service, and/or operations teams to deliver AI‑powered solutions, including applying AI to improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software delivery processes.
Experience leading automation, process reengineering, or digital innovation initiatives using AI or analytics, and comfort using low‑code/no‑code tools to prototype and iterate on solutions.
Strong working knowledge of AI/ML technologies, data architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), with a practical understanding of how to apply these capabilities to real‑world business problems.
Proven ability to communicate complex AI concepts and their business impact to non‑technical stakeholders, adapting language and framing to different audiences.
Proven ability to lead responsibly and collaboratively, including partnering with security, legal, and compliance stakeholders to ensure safe, ethical, and secure AI deployment.
Demonstrated passion for AI, with a track record of staying current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices, and acting as an internal thought leader and continuous learner in the AI space.
