This is a training class with classroom and clinical hours on a day shift schedule. Training is accelerated and lasts approximately 6 weeks with rotating weekends for on-the-job training. Full participation is required.
Responsibilities of Caring Partner
Basic resident care under direction of nursing staff.
Perform duties, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving residents, or changing linens.
Providing health/supportive services to ensure all resident needs are met
Assist our licensed and certified staff
Tidying resident rooms
Ensure call bells/bed controls in reach
Assist with providing companionship and socialization for residents and patients
Qualifications for Caring Partner
High School Diploma or equivalent
Speak and understand the English language
Must be willing to work with multiple residents at once
