Print Services Manager, Amazon MGM Studios Theatrical

Amazon MGM Studios is looking for a Key Art / Print Finisher to join our Theatrical Finishing Production team. This team manages the finishing, adaptations and delivery of static digital artwork and all printed materials, including out-of-home (OOH) for Amazon MGM Studios Theatrical Movie campaigns. We work closely with internal and external studio services to create high-quality creative. The ideal candidate strives to balance creative quality and operational efficiency, and is well-versed in managing creative work through internal teams or external vendors, and has developed strong vendor management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Finish digital and print key art assets and breakouts for use of Theatrical media mixes.
Read and understand spec sheets to accurately QC incoming files.
Check files for correct pixel count, dimensions or other specs called out on spec sheets.
Ensure assets are in the correct color space and understand when to leverage specific color profiles.
Understand the difference between vector and bitmap files and when it is appropriate to use each.
Assess required resolution to ensure that our OOH materials print at a high quality bar.
Liaise closely with internal campaign management and creative leads to understand campaign goals, creative strategy and overall project constraints including budgets and timelines.
Successfully manage internal creative reviews and approvals.
Own communications with external vendors to produce finished art and all relevant adaptations.
Manage art finishing including proof reviews to ensure creative quality and color accuracy is achieved.
Advise on creative design direction in relationship to various breakouts and based on expert knowledge of media type.
Translate complex media plans into clear creative production plans, and recommend solutions that maximize quality, within set budget and timeline limitations.
Responsibly manage artwork finishing and asset production budgets with regular reporting to campaign management and marketing finance teams.
Where relevant, optimize project management system and workflow to simplify end-to-end production and invent scalable asset creation processes.
About the Team This is a very technical role that requires extensive hands-on experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. We often have to advise vendors on the most efficient method to build our files to ensure adaptability downstream from our team. Our team is focused on elevating the quality and efficiency of our Key Art. We are a highly skilled and technical team that are subject matter experts in all forms of static art production.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of creative services experience
3+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience
Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio
Experience working with stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns
Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teams
