Overview Kiakahi, LLC has an CONTINGENT opening for an Senior Information Technology Specialist to join our rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities Responsibilities (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

System administration for Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT) System, to monitor the application and/or services and troubleshoot issues affecting availability

Software Engineering and testing to develop NSTRAT updates based on evolving DoD/DON directives (quarterly STIG updates), corrective maintenance, and enhancements

Cybersecurity Engineering to monitor the system in accordance with Risk Management Framework

Interact with FLANKSPEED hosting services to submit and resolve NSTRAT system trouble tickets

Perform database entry, management, and monitors automated back-up

Support database access for users, and distribute data to supporting/requesting commands

Perform database query analysis

Education / Experience / Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred

7-10 years of experience performing Information Assurance functions and using RMF IT security controls and policies preferred

Must possess and maintain an IT-I level certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M

Five years of Navy experience managing Navy computer networks

Three years of experience using Microsoft Sequel Server Database software

Hold and maintain certifications and/or training to maintain FLANKSPEED IL6 AZURE Privileged Access to include:

AZURE Administrator Associate AZ-104

IAT Level II IAW DoD 8750 Approved Baseline Certifications

Others as required by FLANKSPEED IL6 services

Experience with AZURE desired

Abilities

Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines

Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision

Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature

Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals

Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record may be required

Occasional use of company vehicle while on work site
